Welcome to Square Grouper Logistics LLC. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of squaregrouperlogistics.com, your submission of quote requests, and any vehicle transportation brokerage services arranged by Square Grouper Logistics LLC (“Square Grouper Logistics,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).
By using our website, requesting a quote, booking transportation, or otherwise using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.
Square Grouper Logistics LLC is an auto transportation broker. We arrange vehicle transportation services between customers and independent authorized motor carriers.
Square Grouper Logistics does not generally take possession of, operate the equipment transporting, or physically transport customer vehicles. The motor carrier assigned to a shipment is responsible for physically picking up, transporting, and delivering the vehicle.
Our role includes coordinating transportation, communicating shipment information, assisting with scheduling, and connecting customers with motor carriers capable of completing the requested transportation.
Customers may request a free auto transport quote through our website, by telephone, or through other available communication methods.
Quotes may be based on factors including:
Unless expressly stated otherwise, an initial quote does not guarantee carrier availability, pickup or delivery dates, or a final transportation price.
Any final pricing, deposits, brokerage fees, carrier charges, or other amounts applicable to a particular shipment will be communicated as part of the booking process.
A transportation request is not considered fully arranged until the applicable shipment details have been confirmed and a motor carrier has been assigned or other confirmation has been provided by Square Grouper Logistics.
Carrier availability may change based on route, location, vehicle type, weather, market conditions, scheduling, and other circumstances outside our direct control.
Square Grouper Logistics may select or coordinate with an authorized motor carrier that we determine is suitable for the requested transportation.
The customer agrees to provide accurate and complete information regarding the vehicle and shipment.
This includes, when applicable:
Failure to disclose material information may result in delays, additional charges, carrier refusal, or the need to arrange different transportation equipment.
Customers are responsible for reasonably preparing their vehicle before pickup.
Customers should:
The customer or an authorized representative should be available to inspect the vehicle with the carrier at pickup and delivery whenever reasonably possible.
Vehicle transportation services are intended primarily for the transportation of the vehicle itself.
Customers should avoid placing personal belongings, valuables, important documents, medications, cash, jewelry, electronics, or other valuable property inside the vehicle.
Any personal property permitted by a carrier may be subject to that carrier’s policies, weight restrictions, insurance limitations, and applicable law.
Square Grouper Logistics does not guarantee that a carrier will accept a vehicle containing personal property.
Pickup and delivery dates and times are estimates unless expressly confirmed otherwise in writing.
Transportation schedules may be affected by circumstances such as:
Square Grouper Logistics will make reasonable efforts to coordinate the requested transportation schedule but does not guarantee exact pickup or delivery times unless specifically agreed in writing.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that the pickup and delivery locations can reasonably and safely accommodate a commercial vehicle transporter.
If a carrier cannot safely or legally access the requested location because of narrow streets, low-hanging trees, weight restrictions, residential restrictions, road conditions, or similar limitations, the customer may be required to meet the carrier at a nearby accessible location.
The motor carrier may inspect the vehicle at pickup and document its condition on a bill of lading, inspection report, electronic record, or similar transportation document.
The customer or authorized representative should review the vehicle’s documented condition before signing or approving the carrier’s inspection.
At delivery, the customer should inspect the vehicle carefully before signing the final delivery documentation and should document any newly observed damage according to the carrier’s procedures.
The motor carrier physically transporting the vehicle is responsible for the vehicle while providing the transportation to the extent provided by applicable law, the carrier’s transportation agreement, and the applicable bill of lading.
If loss or damage occurs during physical transportation, the customer should notify the carrier and Square Grouper Logistics as soon as reasonably possible and follow the carrier’s claims procedure.
Customers should retain:
Square Grouper Logistics may assist customers with obtaining carrier information or communicating regarding a claim but does not guarantee the outcome, approval, or payment of any carrier or insurance claim.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be waived.
Square Grouper Logistics seeks to arrange transportation with properly authorized motor carriers as appropriate for the transportation being arranged.
Insurance coverage, deductibles, exclusions, limitations, and claims procedures may vary by carrier.
Customers who require particular insurance limits or coverage should notify Square Grouper Logistics before booking so that applicable carrier information can be reviewed when available.
Payment terms for a shipment will be provided during the quote or booking process.
Depending on the transaction, amounts may be payable to Square Grouper Logistics, the assigned motor carrier, or both.
The customer agrees to pay all amounts that the customer has accepted in connection with the booked transportation service.
Additional charges may apply when shipment information materially differs from the information originally provided, including undisclosed modifications, vehicle condition, dimensions, location restrictions, or special transportation requirements.
No additional charge will be imposed solely because of a change without disclosure to the customer where disclosure is required.
Cancellation and refund eligibility may depend on the status of the transportation request, whether a carrier has already been assigned, services already performed, and any cancellation terms disclosed during booking.
Any shipment-specific cancellation fee, deposit treatment, or refund condition will be communicated as part of the applicable booking arrangement.
If the customer wishes to cancel transportation, the customer should contact Square Grouper Logistics as soon as possible.
Customers must disclose whether a vehicle is inoperable or has modifications that may affect transportation.
This may include:
Special equipment or a different carrier may be required, and additional charges may apply if additional services are needed.
Any transit times provided by Square Grouper Logistics are estimates based on expected transportation conditions.
We cannot guarantee that a carrier will arrive or deliver at an exact time because transportation may be affected by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Customers should not make travel, flight, lodging, employment, sale, auction, or other arrangements that depend entirely on an estimated vehicle delivery time without accounting for possible delays.
Motor carriers used to perform transportation services are independent businesses and are not employees of Square Grouper Logistics.
The carrier controls the actual operation of its transportation equipment, drivers, loading procedures, transportation route, and other operational aspects of the physical transportation service, subject to applicable law and contractual requirements.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Square Grouper Logistics will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages arising from delays or the use of our brokerage services.
Square Grouper Logistics is not the motor carrier physically transporting the vehicle and does not assume responsibility merely by acting as a broker for acts or omissions that are solely attributable to an independent motor carrier.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Square Grouper Logistics will not be responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, road closures, accidents, governmental actions, civil emergencies, labor disruptions, carrier equipment failure, or other extraordinary transportation conditions.
We will make reasonable efforts to assist in coordinating the shipment when such circumstances arise.
